Microsoft confirms Final Fantasy 7 Remake post was a mistake, not a tease

Eurogamer writes: "Xbox has confirmed that a Father's Day post from its Brazilian social media account which included Final Fantasy 7 Remake was posted in error, and "included a title not available on Xbox".

Microsoft's Xbox Brazil account on X, formerly Twitter, yesterday posted a Father's Day message featuring celebrated dads in gaming from various Xbox titles - and also one other: Barrett from Final Fantasy 7 Remake."

Some people spend $68b to do it, some make deals with a third-party deals (which, by the way, mean that both parties have to agree on it). They do, but we should also stop pretending that MS isnt doing the same thing. They make time exclusive deals constantly. Probably had more these last two years than Sony and Nintendo combined. Though I do think Sony is spending more money on this praxis than MS, because the deals seem bigger. High on Lifes 6 month deal couldn't have been the most expensive.

It's the words you use and the fact it actually has nothing to do with the topic at hand. FF7r is a third-party exclusive, and still is. But what did you say? "Can of worms." Oh, that's just simple facts. "Sony reported blocking it from release on Xbox." Oh, that's just simple facts, not at all a direct attribution specific to Xbox. They totally didn't block it from Switch either? Just Xbox?

C'mon, words matter, and you made it dramatic and 'wrong' in your word choices when the whole thing wasn't about the Sony deal, which you ascribe as being a "can of worms" when it's just "regular business," but about misleading with an image thinking that the game would go to Xbox. Nothing else. It wasn't about the deal, it was about Xbox misleading through image use. But, yeah, "can of worms" on Sony's part.

They're supposed to be professionals. I swear, people are just getting dumber and dumber, and these are people that are probably making near $30/hr, and the a fry cook at McDonald's could do a better job and more professional job than they could. I mean, in middle school they used to teach you to finish your work and then pass it to the kid on your right, they would check it for errors, using a red pen, then you'd pass it to the kid on your right and they would do the same, then the kid behind you. EVERYONE'S IN A RUSH TO GO NOWHERE! It makes you look like an idiot. It makes you look incompetent, oh, and Bill Gates name is attached to all of this. It shows his competence in surrounding himself with the United States or Washingtons smartest. These are guys that graduated Yale and MIT..... And something like this slips by? This isn't an isolated incident either, it's a regular thing with Xbox followed by the same business pattern. Next they apologize, then they say they're listening, and then Xbox is made by the fans for the fans. They have degrees in butt kissing.

This is a regular common occurrence, this is the Calibur of Microsofts intellect. This is how smart they are, they can design complex software and design a microchip, but they can't double check an image to upload. They're a gaming company, or division.....
