Baldur's Gate 3 players believe they've identified an issue "halfway through Act 3", which some believe hint at "a weird error with the way [Larian has] designed the whole narrative progression".
Perhaps performance issues with the Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion remaster on Steam Deck stopped it from claiming the top spot right away.
Some of the best PS5 games are exclusives like God of War Ragnarok and Astro Bot, but there are some indie highlights as well.
Larian Studios' fantasy epic was already a landmark title when it launched in 2023, winning over critics and fans alike with its depth, and storytelling. Now they are celebrating a new milestone as their video game Baldur's Gate has reached a new player count peak following Patch 8 release.
Everyone acting like this game is the ideal that those 'other jealous devs' should be aiming for, meanwhile it had 3 years in early access and is still buggy.
Why is this marked as news? It isn't news. It is one redditor's conjecture. It mentions "all kinds of bugs", but not a single example is given (it mentions events being missed, which isn't necessarily a bug in a game like this). Person who wrote the post didn't even experience the issue. No proof is given that the "long rest" is causing the problems (again which aren't specifically mentioned), they're just guessing that it is.
Okay but am I at risk story wise for doing this? That thing in my head doesn’t take over right?
BS advice. You deplete your food rapidly if you keep long resting. Don't really fancy running around checking every barrel and crate for food when they are mostly full of useless junk.
