The idea of being a rock star is something that many dream of. Unplugged: Air Guitar abandons the bulky peripherals of the past and allows you to simply use your hands to shred on stage. Will this step into the virtual realm make you feel like Hendrix at Woodstock?
The PlayStation Brahs:
"Music can help bring out the emotion in all of us to enhance our mood. But does publisher, Vertigo Games, and developer, Anotherway help to bring out the rock star from within? Let’s find out with Unplugged: Air Guitar for PlayStation VR2."
WTMG's Krystle Lim: "As a non-guitar player, in my opinion, you really need to get into the groove and enjoy the music to do well. Switching between blue/green and yellow/red, knowing when strum, find the courage to let go of your strumming hand to raise your hand to hype up the crowd gets to be too much. However, these can be overcome by more play time. The problem then is the fun factor, which is hindered by lack of general progression, graphical, and physical aspects. It’s a good game, but difficult for me to recommend. You might enjoy it more if you’re a guitar player first, or just really enjoy guitar games."
“March was yet another jam-packed month for indie games, especially when it came to VR titles so let's dive in and revisit the very best.” - A.J. Maciejewski from Video Chums.
This looks way more fun than it should be - I was watching Shug from VR Grid play it.
