You see this in newer maps like Die Maschine, but also classics Kino der Toten and Revelations. But Black Ops 2’s Die Rise took Zombies to new heights. You start off in a lobby at the top of a skyscraper with the back wall blown off, exposing the second building just below."
A former developer who spent years working on Call of Duty games at Raven Software has discussed what the Zombies community could have had in a never-ending game. Codenamed Call of Duty Zombies Project: Zed, this free-to-play game would have given the side mode constant updates and microtransactions as you see in Call of Duty Warzone and Multiplayer. It was a standalone title, but would also mean you wouldn’t have had some of your favorite Zombies maps.
A shame, I really don't like CoD multiplayer and Warzone was fun, but got me a bit bored after a while, but I really like the Zombie modes in CoD overall, I really dig them
