The video game streaming service doesn't have many exclusives, but there are still preservation concerns.
Gylt finally scurries to the Switch but will this tale burrow deep into your psyche or will its school-based story be short of a scare?
"The Madrid-based (Spain) indie games publisher Tequila Works (the studio behind RiME and the upcoming Song of Nunu: A League of Legends Story) and indie games developer Parallel Circles, are today very happy and excited to announce that their delicate horror/adventurer game “GYLT“, is now available for the Nintendo Switch via the Nintendo Eshop." - Jonas Ek, TGG.
A good Stranger Things type of game, but the devs screwed themselves over by going for a Google Stadia exclusive for many years.
The game is short but worth a play, cleared it 5 times, I'd be interested if there was a physical collector's edition.
VGChartz's Lee Mehr: "As a series, Hello Neighbor's modus operandi can be seemingly summed up like this: sell a neat concept and then utterly fumble the execution. Hello Engineer sticks to that script, but at least with a dash of panache and actual craftsmanship. Who can blame them for trying a lateral to a less-popular genre too? But when you get past that narrative, tinyBuild Riga's foibles highlight a lack of polish spoiling its otherwise good intentions. In other words: it has a functional chassis on four wheels... before hitting the first pothole."
There will be developer and publisher interest to port these games on other sane platforms.
Pixeljunk Raiders the only one that interests me, so I hope that gets ported to one of the consoles.
