The only good show is that Korean Zombie show. For anime I just watch it on some anime site.

Netflix has a pretty good history with game based animations (Dota, LoL, Castlevania), so this seems promising.

I've always wanted to find out about the tekken story, i just don't like fighting games in general. I'll definitely watch this lol

The Dota anime was alright, not great, but for fans it was a good watch. If this is remotely similar in quality ill give it a shot.

I've heard the opposite, a friend of mine who apparently played Dota for ages said it was one long cringe-fest. On the other hand, I've never played Dota and I absolutely loved it :D

i can imagine him having that opinion, there were surely quite some cringe moments in there, I just really liked seeing the characters i played for 10+ years come to live in something else than the game. You watched season 2 yet?

For me it was mostly the style it was made and the general vibes of the show (same studio as Legend of Korra). And yeah I watched s2 as soon as it came out :)

Looks absolutely disgusting! Every anime Netflix is getting their hands in is looking atrocious! I honestly hope CGI never takes off and the new Dragon Ball Movie completely flops and doesn't set a precedents.

Not really sure what you're on about, Netflix actually has a pretty solid record with animations so far. Arcane, Dota, Castlevania just to mention a few. And this one is looking solid based on the trailer.

Oh I'm very mad!! They're ruined kengan Ashura with that CGI sh1t! And I am mad about certain anime in general taking the direction of CGI! From berserk to kengan Ashura to now dragon ball super movie being CGI! Honestly pissing me off!

I like the old Tekken OVA's I also love the three Fatal Fury OVA's. The old Street Fighter 2 OVA was also just as good I am interested in watching this anime. Always been curious to watch the Netflix Castlevania anime I hear it's pretty good I'll just wait and watch it free online.

Remember Tekken 1 and 2 when it was a story about a ruthless evil father and son and the fight between the literal good (angel) and evil (devil) for Kazuya's soul?

Then they threw all that away, made emo boy and star Jin the hero and retconed the whole devil gene stuff as being more of a heriditary trait than an intelligent entity with it's own motives. While poor ol heihachi had a great reason for murdering his wife and tossing his son off a volcano.

Look forward to further desecration.

They've been very quiet on which 'Japanese' studio have made this, plus an English Dub day 1???!!!
I think they are hiding something, personally. As for the adaptation, the script and story seem far too basic, even the Tekken 2 cutscenes told a better story.
