TSA writes: Assetto Corsa Competizione is an incredibly exacting simulation, but compared to its original PC release, it’s one that didn’t get to shine on PS4 and Xbox One. With the new era of home consoles upon us, it’s time for the full-throated roar of these sublime grand touring vehicles to shine in a way that absolutely matches the game on PC.
The Season 2024 DLC pack for Assetto Corsa Competizione now has a release date, as revealed by parent company Digital Bros.
Assetto Corsa Competizione is getting a new track before the Nordschleife, the Red Bull Ring with the GT2 Car Pack on 24th Januar for PC players. A console release date is not yet confirmed.
Ticking off a major entrant, another car has been confirmed for the next Assetto Corsa Competizione DLC pack – the Mercedes-AMG GT2. Plus, there's now a release date for the content.
Pretty tempted by this. GT racing is my favorite, but wonder if it's too much for a somewhat casual gamer using a controller.
Just read this review.
Totally agree with the default settings for a G29 - was totally unusable!
I've only had the game a couple of days but am still tweaking the control and audio settings.
I was lucky to figure out rolling starts simply based on watching a lot of real motorsport. Realizing I was slightly ahead of the car in the grid position ahead of me and slowing down a bit to compensate.
I would also point out that there only seem to be two, generic music tracks in the game. I've already set music volume down to 50 but I may change this to 0. Needless to say there is no music during racing, thankfully.
aint no GT7 !
