Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End PS5 Review | The Games Cabin

TGC: Uncharted 4: A Thief's End was already a good, but a flawed and out-of-place game in the series. Now, it's better. 60FPS is always welcome and the extra polish in Fidelity mode is welcome for those wanting their PS5 to put in some hard work.

Look at me! I gave Uncharted 4 a seven! Please look at me!

IanTH1175d ago

UC4 is "out of place" in the series? The heck does that even mean?

Also, this sounds like a review of the game itself, rather than the remastering or its value. They can give it a 7, but if they also admit that it is now "better", then what would they rate this before? Sub 7? That's too harsh.

Whilst I don't agree with this score, UC4 didn't have have as many big set pieces and seemed a bit more mature in places compared to the rest of the series. Maybe that's what they were refering too? No idea. Still a great game though and definitely not a 7

I don’t agree with a 7 at all, but he means that Uncharted 4 is less on big action set pieces and heavy on story, unlike the last three which were thrill rides the whole way through but not emotional games. Uncharted 4 is more akin to The Last of Us franchise than any of its predecessors.

Good month. I recommend PS users to download R6 Extraction. It is seriously a really fun and polished co-op game.

Totally agree. The game got dragged in the review market but, get some friends together and it’s definitely worth a shot. It’s just as good with shooting mechanics as siege but no sweat lords to compete with

That's a crap ton of older good titles...some of which I never got to.

I’ve been holding out but I think when they start putting psvr 2 titles on there it’ll be my time to dive in

crazyCoconuts770d ago

I was thinking the same thing when I locked in on the deals they had during the last holiday season. I'm normally not a fan of subs but this was so cheap and the likelihood of them adding PSVR2 is pretty high imo. Hopefully within the next 6 months.

SullysCigar770d ago

It'll happen for sure at some point. They did OG PSVR titles on Plus before. Hopefully they'll be great games that flew under the radar, like The Light Brigade seems to be.
