VGChartz's Evan Norris: "For video game collectors, 2022 was a special time. Early in the year Sony packaged together two beloved, critically-acclaimed Uncharted titles in Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, remastered for the PS5 and PC with improved visuals and framerate. Over the summer, Nintendo fans were treated to Portal: Companion Collection, which brought Portal and Portal 2 to Switch, with all the mind-bending puzzles, superior voice-acting, and darkly humorous storytelling that earned the series a legion of fans on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC. Finally, video game preservationist Digital Eclipse turned in not one, but two remarkable anthologies, each with over a dozen games and an abundance of bonus features: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection and Atari 50: The Anniversary Collection.
But which of these won our inaugural award for Best Compilation?"
PlayStation Plus Monthly Games for March – Dragon Age: The Veilguard (PS5), Sonic Colors: Ultimate (PS4), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection (PS4 /PS5)
All playable March 4.
I was happy with the last two PS+ Essential Game Lineups too, but this one is a ton cooler. Owned TMNT Collection on PC already, but will most likely play it again on the bigger screen.
Is Dragon Age The Veilguard worth the time it probably needs? Liked the previous games of the series a lot.
Ooh Sonic colors. I never actually got around to beating my Wii copy. I hope it's been improved cuz I heard at lunch it wasn't the best
So how long until skull and bones is on ps+?
they love throwing the leftover slop on there lately
rest is cool though
can't beat those Konami collections
I just bought Dragon Age too lol. $25 off Amazon. Guess I'll just leave it sealed then 🤷🏾.
Wow, pretty amazing as Veilguard just came out in October. Opinions have been pretty mixed, but I'll happily try it out for free. I loved Inquisition, but I know to keep my expectations lower for this one.
As for TMNT collection, I had bought for Switch a long while back so i could have it for portable play. I'm really happy to get it again on PS5 for trophies.
Atari 50's latest DLC, The First Console War, brings new platforms and new games to the massive collection. While the games are arguably not great, the archival footage and the interview package definitely is.
Atari 50's The First Console War shows how the first big competitor to Atari’s dominating 2600 console came in the form of Mattel’s Intellivision. But they certainly didn’t stop there!
