Cyberpunk 2077 Native PS5 Version Spotted On PlayStation Database

Cyberpunk 2077 has been given a native PS5 version in the PlayStation Database, implying that CD Projekt Red will be releasing it shortly.

Honestly ... at this point ... they shouldn't rush it ... the more they delay it a bit more, more they'll distance it from the troubled launch.
A Q1 2022 re-launch vs Q4 won't make much of a difference in terms of players' patience.
But a steady quality controlled relaunch might work wonders for them and might dispel the whole debacle all together.

First of all ps5 doesnt support vrr and dying light 2 performance mode is made for vrr with uncapped fps. Also series x have higher resolution and overall better hdmi 2.1 and audio support.

Waited on this after being hyped for years. Really hoping they put their heads down and overhauled good portions of the game for this release. Won't be picking it up blindly but waiting for consensus from the community. If it seems like people are happy with it, then I'll bite.

I bought the PS4 version for less than 15$ Actually I think it was 7. 99 or 9.99 I forget it’s been awhile .. Supposedly a free upgrade so I’m set . I ah ent played it at all so I will wait as long as it reaches the best point it will get minus dlc or whatever

I have this game on the 4 not a 4 pro but a "slim" 4. It works fine got the game for 5 bucks a little bit before X-mas. Sure a few little glitches but after the reviews and things I was expecting some horrendous shit but it's cool. I'm sure on the five it will be pretty good too.

On PS5, the biggest issue I had was it'd get glitchy and want to crash after playing for a few hours. Is that something you noticed as well?

I've put in around 60 hours so far in the game on my 4 and I have had 2 crashes straight up. Now I have noticed it may lag some times and then I'll save real quick and restart the game I've done this around 3 or 4 times since I got it. Nothing where I'm like f this game like it was when it came out. Hell I was hype for the game and then stayed away after reading the reviews. Not saying the game doesn't have issues but for real the hate it is still getting TO ME is unwarranted ( I did pay 5 bucks at gamestop tho lol full disclosure)

I just played it recently for about 25 hrs on the 5 and didn't experience a crash, but the game still doesn't look that great. The pop-in is better on the 5 but there are still a ton of npc doubles and the AI animation looks janky. Also, the city is still dead as in the population looks a bit light. Hopefully, the 5 version will changes things for the better.

I played it on a slim day 1 release and it was truly one of the worst launches I have experienced. After a few patches it got better, but the "pop-in" on the slim is really awful. It is still one of my most played games, but objectively, on the Slim it does not look even remotely good or cool.

I tried playing it again yesterday but decided to wait for this. What’s the most interesting starting point for those that played? Corpo, street guy or the other thing?

I played them all and my favorite are in this order: Nomad, Corpo then Street Kid.

It's not an RPG, so choices don't matter much. You'll get different 20 first minutes and some dialogues but nothing major or game changing. Corpo makes the least sense story/choice-wise. Nomad would get my vote, but your mileage may vary.

Are there any news about the PC version?? But, either way, those updates from what I've understand, are trying to get the consoles as close as they can to the power of PC in this game. Let alone the mod section, console versions don't even have lots of NPCs walking/passing by near the player pffff.

I really liked the 10 or so hours I spent with it on Series X. But once I experienced a few crashes I decided to put it on the back burner until the X/PS5 native version. Looking forward to diving back in!
