I love the more arcade style racers than simulators. I can appreciate the attention to detail simulations offer but when you dont want to have to monitor tire pressure or gear / weight ratios... a fast 'balls to the wall' racing game is so much more fun to play. Horizon series fills that spot.

not perfect, distance shimmering and those detailed road and building textures only have depth maps applied in the 30fps mode, but overall the best looking arcade racing game yet, i think the main question is why cant we change the in game music, this was a feature of the original xbox and needs to make a return

Thanks for the concerns and I am worried about burn in but I’ve heard very little of actual burn with regular play. I game maybe 10-20 hours a week so I’m not to worried. Bought a 5 year warranty just in case

The risk is greatly reduced in the newer OLEDs. It’s not really a problem unless you watch cable news on it for like a month straight.

I have 2, one is 5 years old now (E6) other is 2 years old (C9), neither have burn in.

LG OLED TVs have a pixel refresher feature which helps eliminate this worry.

I bought a LG OLED at launch of the Series X and PS5 and I can tell you that burn in is not a serious concern for this TV. I've accidentally left my tv on with games on pause for hours and not a single drop of burn in. That's not to say it can't happen but as long as you're careful you'll be fine

How does the preload work on Xbox? Does the icon show up on the dashboard at 12:01 or is it better to just turn it on after that time?

If you have "allow updates" selected, it will automatically download it.

I've been playing it at 30fps since the first game. I have 3500+ hours with FH4. I can't complain, because it feels kind of acceptable if the game does not drop any frames (DF mentioned this in previous videos as well).

Open world racers that also give you a performance mode at 4K 60? Yes it is very okay.

Fixed native 4K in quality mode with a 4K performance option that can scale back to 1600p. Again, 4x MSAA is standard across all Xbox Series consoles and it's worth stressing that DRS kicks in only occasionally.

I'm interested to see what they can do with Fable, both from a visual perspective but also gameplay wise since it'll be their first non-racing game.
