PC Games That Are Better With A Controller

Here are some great PC games that are even better with a controller. In fact, one can say that they're meant to be played with a controller.

That's why I don't mess with PC gaming for the most part. When I game I'm relaxing. Hard to do that with a keyboard and mouse. That's just my thought on it.

I'm still hoping bethesada adds real controller support to the og fallout or re release them on xbox like what was done with wasteland 1

What exactly is so hard about using a keyboard and mouse compared to a controller when subjectively relaxing? Do you game upside down on a crossbar?

Daeloki651d ago

At least in my opinion, with a controller I can lay back comfortably in my couch however I want. Keyboard + mouse would require a table and chair, and requires investing in ergonomics not to completely mess up my back (not saying the couch is good for my back either but achieving comfortability is easier). Again, emphasizing that I'm speaking out of opinion, and I agree with you that concepts of relaxing and which is better are both very subjective matters. All in all I don't think it's a particularly good article since it really boils down to personal preference.

And not in a good way! GOW 2018 was not what I was expecting either, and it blew me away! However this is like a popcorn fart in church.

Elda9d ago

I wouldn't mind playing that, I'm guessing somewhat in the vein of Prince Of Persia:TLC but hopefully with better graphics.

RaidenBlack8d ago

Which 2.5D tho?
I think its a top down perspective game.

PassNextquestion8d ago

2.5D can be done in many different ways. It could be as simple as a size scrolling game with 3D backgrounds

Nebaku8d ago

Well it says "Metroidvania". I think you can derive which kind of 2.5D from that.

🤔 Interesting. Nothing wrong with switching it up to a different genre of game for a side project. Hope they don't try to do that to a main entry.

This sounds very interesting. I love a good Metroidvania.

Actually sounds good as hell in my imagination. Definitely interested.

I feel sorry for this guy and his newly formed studio.

He left XGS and Playground to pursue his multi platform dreams just to find out next that Xbox will be making games for every single platform. Smh.

Lightning7710d ago

I don't think it's any of that. Im sure hes heard of Xbox multiplat approach but wanted to do their own thing anyway. He has complete freedom and direction. This game could be a break out hit and join Larian Studios Baldurs Gate and Clair Obscure Expedition 33 a more independent studios.

Tacoboto9d ago

"I would say we're not building Horizon. If I wanted to build Horizon 6, 7 and 8, I would have stayed at Playground"

He didn't want to keep making Horizon. Try reading any article before giving a nod to Microsoft.

I'm glad studios are breaking off from big pubs and doing their own thing.

Making games that are player lead and games that devs want to make and play themselves. This is how it was in the 90's 2000's even early 2010's. That's part of the reason why gaming was better back then. With more independency in the industry we'll have more creative games. Not this formulaic dopamine reward driven systems. But engaging, dynamic and most importantly organically fun to play. Not manufactured fake fun like how it is these days.

Rant over it'll be probably be awhile till we see their game but here's hoping it's good.
