If I had to bet, I'd say a game unlike any GTA that has come before, stripped of all humour in fear of offending anyone and focusing primarily on online and mt's.

jBlakeeper921d ago

Exactly what I’m afraid of. The world has changed drastically even since 2013. Devs are careful not to offend anyone nowadays.

"The world has changed drastically even since 2013"

So true. When I'm watching movies that are just 5-10 years old I see so many scenes and characters that would make so many woke people go nuts - and make companies and actors apologize for the smallest things.

porkChop921d ago

Rockstar has never shied away from controversy or making fun of current events. So I don't see that suddenly happening.

MadLad921d ago (Edited 921d ago )

I mean, they removed something as pathetically non-issue as the Confederate flag from Vice City to not offend 1% of the population's fragile feelings, so who knows.

Inverno921d ago

After Take 2s E3 presentation it wouldn't be surprising if the next GTA is more "progressive".

sourOG921d ago

I heard dr Dre is making music for it. Would be dope but his last album was ass

Ninver920d ago

That's the rumor. Hope he brings his A game

sourOG920d ago

If it’s just beats it will be the shit. If it’s actual radio music it will probably be mainstream trash with modern cameos. I’m a chronic/chronic2k1 purist lmao.

rlow1921d ago

Yeah I see this game as fleecing every dollar they can out of you.
@TheRealTedCruz, they are getting the chum ready for the Sharks............of course we're the chum aka chumps lol

-Foxtrot921d ago

I just hope for two things

Vice City and solo character, no switching between characters

chicken_in_the_corn921d ago

I hope they keep the 3 protagonist system. It improved the pacing, gameplay and mission design so much. Scrapping it would be a massive step backwards. I feel it could reach it's full potential with a longer story and bigger map

-Foxtrot921d ago

The pacing was awful in V because of it, you couldn’t connect to the characters except for Trevor who we needed more of. Just felt like you were jumping around too much.

Not to mention only certain characters could buy certain properties and you had to switch

Focusing on one character let’s Rockstar develop them fully

Why GTA 3 Is the GTA Trilogy Game That Has Aged Best

As the oldest entry in the GTA trilogy, GTA 3 is often overlooked, but time has shown that this may be the title that has aged the most gracefully.

SA aged best to me, especially after you max out your skills, shooting especially becomes far closer to something modern.

Always loved GTA3 the most. Everything has personality, the islands, the areas, the gangs etc.

fitofficial907d ago (Edited 907d ago )

GTA3 was always my favorite too.

ZeekQuattro907d ago

Being a huge Scarface fan. Both the movie and PS2 game I like Vice City the best. I'm also a sucker for the 80s so I'll always give that GTA an edge.

TheColbertinator907d ago

Vice City had the look, the characters and the music. Legendary game.

porkChop907d ago

It's fuckin criminal that we never got a remaster of Scarface: The World is Yours. I was really hoping it would get added to BC on Xbox, but that's not going to happen now.

Profchaos907d ago

Could still happen right ?

porkChop907d ago

Xbox can't add any more BC games due to licensing and technical issues. So it's not likely.

badboyz09907d ago

All 3 still are classics but GTA3 is the only game downloaded on my phone 😉

Somebody disagrees! You must be a liar 😂
