It seems the first few Black Ops Cold War Season 5 details have surfaced via datamining.
The biggest development budgets ever disclosed by a game company, buried in a court filing (but found by Game File), along with updated sales figures.
Insane.
How come that these are even bigger budgets than Hollywood film productions?
I really can't "see" what's so expensive about the development of a Call of Duty Game.
Yeah I don't get it either, they are basically the same exact game each year yet the budgets make it seem like they are making a brand new ip.
I think it's mostly the fact that they have like 20+ different teams working on these games probably in the hundreds of hours per individual per week to meet the yearly deadline. That and I do not know, marketing, besides that, it beats me.

Black Ops Cold War was the last truly great Call of Duty campaign, and four years later Treyarch have the chance to top it in Black Ops 6.
A video has surfaced online which showcases Black Ops 1 in a Whopping 1000 frames per second l, and how it can impact an older game.
I think we are gonna have to upgrade ourselves first before we can ever benefit from something like this. At some point our humanity becomes the bottleneck.

True but thats not the point of the video, more about showing how the fps rate can mess with the engine/physic calculations
I tried Destiny 2 on PC at both 60 and 120fps... It was only a slightly noticeable difference. I don't think it's necessary unless you're you're looking to compete.
But can it run Crysis? 😆Who has a monitor to see this... though novel...it is useless. Its just like the old Duke nukem 3d cheat or the unreal tournament anti gravity mode.
