Insane.

How come that these are even bigger budgets than Hollywood film productions?

I really can't "see" what's so expensive about the development of a Call of Duty Game.

Gamingsince1981117d ago

Yeah I don't get it either, they are basically the same exact game each year yet the budgets make it seem like they are making a brand new ip.

RpgSama117d ago

I think it's mostly the fact that they have like 20+ different teams working on these games probably in the hundreds of hours per individual per week to meet the yearly deadline. That and I do not know, marketing, besides that, it beats me.

anast117d ago

It's a hustle. Not all that money is being sent on development.

gold_drake117d ago

really?
i dont really see it. must have been for PR stuff

Game was trash. And with all that money they cant fund a better compression tech?

I think we are gonna have to upgrade ourselves first before we can ever benefit from something like this. At some point our humanity becomes the bottleneck.

fr0sty941d ago

Unnecessary overkill. No display can hit it, and our eyes can't see it.

Kosic941d ago

And YouTube caps out at 60fps..

neutralgamer1992941d ago

Nope our eyes have the perfect FPS 30-60fps is where human eyes have been for thousands of years

EvertonFC940d ago

You are correct

Also between 10/12k Res is the max the eyes can see.

isarai942d ago

No display can show even half of those frames tho

Fishy Fingers941d ago

True but thats not the point of the video, more about showing how the fps rate can mess with the engine/physic calculations

anast941d ago

This is already 30 years old. Most people are at a million.

EmperorDalek941d ago

I tried Destiny 2 on PC at both 60 and 120fps... It was only a slightly noticeable difference. I don't think it's necessary unless you're you're looking to compete.

Rainbowcookie940d ago (Edited 940d ago )

But can it run Crysis? 😆Who has a monitor to see this... though novel...it is useless. Its just like the old Duke nukem 3d cheat or the unreal tournament anti gravity mode.
