The next-gen version of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 is almost indistinguishable from the last-gen version. Outside of a few upgrades that most players won’t get to try anytime soon, it’s the same game with a very minor visual upgrade.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 remakes are likely off the table forever, as new claims from anonymous Activision devs bury your hopes for good.
"Tony Hawk himself purported that plans were in place until Vicarious Visions’ obligations to Activision’s mammoth FPS game franchise, Call of Duty, got in the way"
Same what happened to Raven Softworks sadly
We'll never get Singularity 2
This is kinda pathetic on Activision. Hire someone else to do a remake if you have to. Not every dev needs to be working on cod
Video Game soundtracks are an essential part of the game, setting the tone, warning you of impending danger, or for some of us, useful background music whilst studying or working on projects.
If you're waiting for EA's Skate sequel, then pick up Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 for less than $20 on Xbox to revisit a classic experience.
Microsoft should force Activision to make Tony 3 and 4 remake. I hate how it was canceled for no reason.
I question these remasters when the game is backwards compatible to begin with...
As someone who didn't pick up the game on either PS4 or Xbox One, I picked up the physical PS5 version and I'm having a blast. I think the game looks pretty solid graphically. Hearing Superman on the title screen when I first started the game hit me with that nostalgia.
Its free on xbox
Here I am doing everything I can......
Total let down of a game. The physics are all wrong and are based on THPS 3 onwards. Not only that but reverts were not present in 1 and 2. Why are they in this?
You can do a 900 in the vert ramp and
a kickflip 360 right after before landing. This is Tony Hawk 1 and 2 with the awful PS2 era engines.
