I recommend players max out freelancer on as many characters they have the patience for. It has JP boosters as unlocks. Great for when unlock new jobs and want to max them out quickly.
Each map also has harder than usual monsters on them to whom always seem to flash red no matter how much you level. These enemies give you tons of experience, money and JP should you win. They also respawn when you enter a another area like a town. You also get underdog bonus points for EXP and JP for beating stronger enemies on top of the other bonuses.

Maybe for the Switch successor?

OtterX472d ago

That would be great. I doubt the Switch successor will come this year, probably Spring of '25 (bc of rumors). But that would line up if they made an announcement on Bravely Default III in the Fall. Maybe a cross-platform title?

Yeah it was originally planned for this year but it seems to have been moved to 2025. I wonder when they will announce it though. Anyway I still need to play Bravely II (do already own it).

@Nyxus You know, I still only ever played the demo of Bravely Default II, and loved it. It was just one of those things where I was playing so many other things at the time it came out. Next time I see it on sale I'll pick it up. I'm hardcore on the Final Fantasy Pixel Remasters at the moment. I'm really loving them, particularly bc it's the first time that the classics have included actual orchestrated music.

I'm really hoping the Switch successor is backwards compatible, because I have quite a backlog for the system, including several RPGs like Bravely II, Octopath Traveler I and II and Fire Emblem Engage.

Nice. I really enjoyed Bravely Default 2. Surprised they didn't port 1 and Bravely Second at some point.

I'm surprised that didn't happen either, seems like an obvious choice, but then again, I hear Bravely Default 2 didn't do very well.
