Temtem Review – Pokemon’s strongest rival… [Early Access] | Vamers

Temtem is a wonderful game that is trying to carve its own unique niche in the monster collection world, but also wears its inspiration on its sleeve for all to see. With that said, it does bring a few new things to the table to make it feel somewhat unique, and it boasts a cool 30-hours of content for an Early Access video game.

Definitely great game too. But i definitely think Temtem is probably the only one that can rival it over time. Being an MMO as long as it's supported. It's been upgraded heavy since

I'm just glad Pokemon has rivals. I'm not going to support that franchise any longer, so I'm hoping some of the alternatives do well enough to stick around long term.

True. I think the years of it being a true competitor to Pokemon are long over though. The games aren't even mainstream enough anymore to get a dub. Not only that, they're different. I think they're better than Pokemon, but they don't fit my definition of a rival. I didn't specify, but I'm also hoping for a competitor that will make GF actually put effort into their games. I don't know if Temtem is the answer to that either, but it definitely has a better shot at it.

I don't care about gamefreak anymore or pokemon for that matter. If it takes a super high level of competition for them to do what they should have done in the first place I say goodbye and good riddance if they don't snap back should they ever be dethroned
