NE: "We're looking at ACNH and ACNL to determine which is the better game and how future entries can learn from both of them."
After the hype wore off during the height of COVID I found New Horizons disappointing compared to. Ew Leaf
NH gave us a lot more cool features but then took things away which they slowly drip fed us with poor updates
Crazy how much it sold and how popular it was during COVID and it got such terrible support
We need more control in the next game, the fact we couldn’t move the airport or town hall was ridiculous and certain items were randomised, like I could get a black lamppost unless a friend gave me one of his because mine were green.
In the end I still prefer New Leaf, one of the most important factors being the breakable tools. It gets pretty annoying when you have to keep making bug nets, fishing rods etc in New Horizons.
It came out at the perfect time and was completely abandoned save for a couple of small updates. Those months after release could have taken the game to a whole other level but I guess Nintendo wasn’t impressed with the number of active players.
Super Smash Bros Ultimate will host a new Spirits event on March 21 to celebrate the release of Princess Peach Showtime! and Super Mario Bros Wonder. The event will last for five days with new Spirits from the Nintendo Switch games.
The creator of the Smash Bros series, Masahiro Sakurai, has explained the lack of button re-mapping in Super Smash Bros Ultimate.
“Heads up, Switch owners: a bunch of Nintendo-published games are on sale for 17% off. Considering Switch games rarely get the discount treatment, it's a good time to pick up any titles you've been holding off on.“
This doesn’t do much for me. It doesn’t excite me to be able to pay $50 for titles that used to be $60, especially when many of these titles have been available for multiple years.
This sale is trash. Only 17% off? Don't make me laugh. The excuse of their games selling well so they don't need to do sales is bull. GTA V sold 130 millions copies, is the most profitable product in all form of entertainment and media of all times (which means music, movies, books, games) and it's constantly on sale. Nintendo has no excuse for those trash sales.
17% off isn’t too impressive of a sale. Some of the games on sale are over a year old. Other game companies (including Sony and Microsoft) have sales of 20-50% + off and their games have permanent price drops.
