Leaked image seems to show that the Xbox Series X controller in white

A white version of the Xbox Series X controller has surfaced online.

This is not officially confirmed as of yet, the photo is from Reddit u/Wolfy_Wizzardo.

Obviously there was to be other colors, just like there would be other colors for the PS5. I mean just look at the current (as well as previous) gens to see they tend to come out with a wide range of choices.

All these supposed "leaks". Leak implies it is secret knowledge not meant to be divulged to the public. It's just a form of marketing to make people think this is special information. There is no surprise that consoles will be available in different colors.

Beginning with a blue PS1 debug unit, I've tried to grab a blue PS console for each gen. I missed the State of Play SE version, so I'm hoping for some late generation color releases to make my Playstation Blues shelf complete.

Black and white are typical variants I would expect regardless of the weirdos like me who also look for the rarer ones.

I would say the black made it look a stereo speaker, and the white now really makes it look like a standard refrigerator.

I have a white Sunset Overdrive Xbox One and it's still as white as the first day ( after the annual dust cleanup )

I only wish I had unlimited budget and had the money to buy a second PS4 that would be white, I love white console! :)

A yellow Series X would look kinda silly, but not terrible. Kind of like a bulk box of some banana flavored snack.

Personally, I think they nailed it with the original color; hard to imagine a better look than black for the monolithic design. Everything else kinda looks bizarre. Maybe a slate gray finish, but that's all in my opinion.

That is dependent on if its in direct sunlight or not. My original dreamcast is still white and it is in my game room that has one window but not directly facing where the systems are. So my tv and systems are not in direct light. something like a SNES... yeah that yellows regardless because of the chemical they put in the plastic (at the time) but other systems released since still hold their color.

Just be smart and not put them in direct sunlight.

Easy way to fix the yellowing is buy a product called salon care 40 paint it on the yellowed part wrap it in saran wrap and let it bake out in the sun. The hydrogen peroxide will cause it to turn from yellow to white there are many videos on Youtube to retro bright a console.

Weird stuff happens with submissions sometimes. I recently submitted the Medium gameplay demo and it wrongfully failed for being a duplicate (the other article was a completely different video). Then one day later another submission about the same video I posted before was approved (rightfully so). I personally don't care who gets the submission credit since I don't have anything to promote, but it's weird that I recently got a restriction for disagreeing with a report of the same mod that later misreported my submission for being a duplicate.

I have a ps4 slim white, no yellowing. The plastic they use now is different to what they used back in the day. Unfortunately Super NES was notorious for yellowing. the particular plastic they used had some reaction, with age caused the issue.

I expected different colours, xbox has the design lab where you can design your own colour controller etc, this will continue with Series X controllers.

I fully expect the Series X controller to be black.
