This week on The Finger Guns Podcast the full team get together to talk this weeks fantastic PS5 event and our overall thoughts on what Sony shared with us. It’s a full on gaming love-in as we talk our hype levels for Horizon Forbidden West, Spider-Man Miles Morales, Resident Evil Village (8), Kena Bridge of Spirits and much more, along with Paul’s detailed look at the design of the system. Do we prefer the base or the digital version? We get into a bit of debate in regards to what looks better. There’s a lot of stuff to talk about, and we wanted to share in the excitement once again. Ah, it’s all very exciting isn’t it? We love a new console year. Of course there’s also been a gargantuan number of indie reveals this week via the Guerrilla Collective, IGN’s Summer of Gaming, Games Radar’s Future Gaming Show and well, lots lots more.
Hogwarts Legacy has remained in first place on the UK retail charts, according to GfK data for the week ending April 19, 2025.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, following the release of the PS5 version, came in second place.
Astro Bot dropped one spot to third place, while Monster Hunter Wilds remained in fourth place. Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate is up one spot to fifth place and EA Sports FC 25 is up six spots to sixth place.

Strange seeing Hogwarts there as I downloaded it for my son from PS Plus a couple of days ago.
Some of the best PS5 games are exclusives like God of War Ragnarok and Astro Bot, but there are some indie highlights as well.
The PlayStation 5 was the best-selling console worldwide with 1,137,164 units sold for March 2025, according to VGChartz estimates. The PlayStation 5 has now sold an estimated 75.28 million units lifetime worldwide.
The Nintendo Switch sold an estimated 547,216 units to bring its lifetime sales to 150.25 million units. The Xbox Series X|S sold 263,531 units to bring their lifetime sales to 32.73 million units.

Its because the console selling 1m units has all the games, Including all its key competitor games LOL
