Well it certainly does look as good as Advent Children but I think a large reason for that is because of UE4.

You can have UE4 but if you dont have people designing for UE4, it becomes useless. You give them the tools they need, if they dont know how to use it.....

It looks better than Advent Children now but that's to be expected.

It very much looks like Advent children, very impressive and really makes me excited for nextgen systems.

I played the demo last night and was shocked by how good it looked.

It looks at good as advent children but not as good as advent children complete(yes there were 2 different versions and the inferior looking on is on crackle right now). Maybe the PS5 version will look as good as advent children complete.

Here is footage of the 2 versions, in one cloud gets scars and bleeds during the sephiroth fight and the other he does not. https://www.youtube.com/wat...

I try to watch AC: Complete at least once a year. It's so good. Much much better than the choppiness of the original version.

Thanks for this info! Recently I found an old advent children dvd and thought id give it a watch. Was enjoyable enough but looked like ass. Seriously like ps3 quality-level NPCs walking around and terrible frame rate. To be fair the dvd box did say it was MPEG-2 quality so chalked it up to this... But yeah i swear i remembered it looking better so this makes me feel not crazy

How about an official level editor for Boltgun?

I’ll get Space Marine 2 when it’s cheaper. I don’t pay more than half price for short games.

Glen Schofield: Dead Space Wouldn’t Be Greenlit Today—Publishers Are Afraid to Take Risks

Sector sat down with Glen Schofield—creator of Dead Space and The Callisto Protocol—during the Game Developers Session (GDS) in Prague to discuss the evolution of the game industry, the current challenges of AAA development, and why it's become so hard to get original ideas off the ground in today’s risk-averse environment.

It’s easy enough to say that, but why? It feels weird to me when developers say this but common sense would tell you everything about the idea itself should work.

The idea of the concept seems like a winner at whichever angle you look at it so why would publishers not greenlight it?

… it’s almost as if the majority of publishers are massively incompetent at their jobs. But there’s no surprise to anyone there.
