All-female League of Legends team Vaevictis kicked out of the LCL

Riot Games Russia has kicked Vaevictus' female LoL team from the LCL after a series of poor results.

I can click shit all day. It's about as physical as well as clicking a mouse. It ain't shit. Let me know when they go through 2 a days or 3 days in the hot summer sun. That about killed me. That's something physical. You see a teammate pop a knee cap back in place, that is physical. When I see a teammate and friend bone rip through the skin, that is physical. Running a 2 mile in full pads, that's physical. When you work yourself to projectile vomiting but continue the play that is physical. Clicking a mouse isn't. Let me know of an LoL player playing with blood and sweat pouring in their eyeballs son.

How many times does it have to be said, it doesn't matter that they are sitting at their pc, there is still a physical aspect to what is being played (reflexes, response time, etc.) competitively that men will have an advantage. You can disagree with science as much as you want, you will not make it true.

Be careful with your words as I can easily refute your preposition when it has been proven in numerous studies that it is almost a 50/50 split between men and women playing video games. Be more concise, there aren't enough women in competitive video games. Which also holds true in other sports so once again my point stands, women need their own division.

No, it's just that the women interested in playing competitively are quite few. So with a smaller sample, you get fewer high quality players surface to the top. That makes it especially difficult to form a team of top tier female players.

There are plenty of individual instances where women play as well or better than male counterparts.

The pool is smaller because the interest of man and woman on general are different. More men interested in playing video games than woman and even when it comes to playing video games, woman tend to like different games than men. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this. We are just all different and we need to accept this instead of trying to force an all female team on a league just for diversity sake. I'm sure that there are other areas where ladies perform better than men. It's just not competitive video gaming.

Yeah, I know quite a females that are better than male players at whatever game they decide to put their effort into learning. I don't think I'd say I know any professional players, but no reason a female can't be a good player. It's not a physical activity, so there is no reason general physiology would be a factor.

Strength has nothing to do with it. However, there is still a physical aspect to competitive gaming that will always give men, who are the more physical of the species on average, the advantage.

Since the pool is smaller, maybe we need to have a men's and women's division for esports, just like in real sports.

Sounds more like there's just a lot of insecure dweebs in this thread trying to go out of their way to claim women simply "can't" do as well as guys in games based off this one LoL team that you never knew existed getting kicked out of a league for being bad.

Simple fact is that the majority of women aren't interested in high-tier competitive games especially when it comes to esports, so the sample pool is gonna be overwhelmingly tiny to compare anything. I've played with many female gamers who kept up with me in competitive games and sometimes even out stripped me, and they'd consistently destroy 95% of the competition we went against in pub stomping sessions lol. That's not even counting the larger amount of girl streamers who kick untold amounts of ass on stream these days.

But no, this will be dismissed as "anecdotal" because it wrecks the dumbass narrative of WoMeN aRe PhYsiCaLlY iNFeRiOr" lmao because we all know you need to be an Olympic athlete to hone your reaction times, intuition, situational awareness, etc

No, it's just that the gimmick of ommiting other types of players, can hurt their chances of finding players they synergize with. Imagine a team who banded together based solely on their mutual love of rye bread (or some other gimmick). Maybe some of them are great gamers, but it's not a reason to form a team. Hopefully the best players in this all female team can find a mixed team they synergize with.

This is just another sad case of women objectifying THEMSELVES. Obviously this team never had any talent as evident by their record. They were only a team because of their looks. Why couldn't they just find good women players regardless of their looks?
