I spoke to League of Legends players who actually own the $430 Ahri skin

Using League of Legends' $430 Ahri skin in-game feels like it paints a target on your back, so PCGN's Lauren Bergin asked two owners about their experience.

People are willing to throw $430 for a skin… and then there are those who complain about consoles being expensive.

Those are the same people that don't mind paying $1000 plus a year for a new phone or TV though as well, and the same kinda people spending $1000 plus on a gpu ....... 🤷‍♂️

My phone is 5 years old and still perfectly good.
At some point I'd like to get one with a better camera though.

Only whales can spend this much for a skin.the average gamer can't afford to waste coin like this.

But those are physical items, they need materials in order to be constructed and delivery to a store and then to the buyer.

Even if you've compared physical items to this skin (like a painting or a scuplture) - they can use expensive materials or require expensive processing. This skin just uses the regular color palette.

This is just a digital skin that you don't even own and can't get your money back by reselling it. You can't compare that.

P. S.: i'm not defending people that buy new phone each year, mind you, they're just as bad.
