Que mainstream media claiming videogames are the downfall of civilization as we know it. Games also killed their parents, and kicked their puppy.

Gaming1011918d ago

It's unbelievable Rockstar got sued for having code in their game you couldn't access unless you hacked the game and spent hours on end looking for it. Fucking hell people are stupid...

GameZenith1918d ago

9 hours later and I am still waiting for the mainstream media to que that videogames are the downfall of civilization.....

MadLad1918d ago (Edited 1918d ago )

Oh, calm yourself lol. There's a whole lot of history showing an anti-game narrative; using them as the scapegoat for a number of societal issues that may pop up.
Our current president even pushed an anti-game narrative not very long ago.

Not sure why you're so uptight about me saying so, but that's a you thing.

zeroskie1917d ago

Cue - if they're going to immediately react to this
Queue - if they're storing it as ammunition for a future story
Que - spanish for what?

MadLad1917d ago

I'm human lol. I was just waking up when posting my initial comment and wasn't thinking.

Kumakai1917d ago

Before games it was movies and before movies it was rock music and so on. Society always needs a scapegoat to account for everything wrong rather than just accepting that ppl are just kinda f’d up regardless of their entertainment choices.

frostypants1917d ago

No one outside of N4G is going to give a crap about this.

I always thought it was stupid that Arthur couldn’t have sex with prostitutes in a brothel. For a game that prides itself on realism, that’s not realistic at all.

Fist4achin1917d ago

Instead of spending all that time and energy creating this, I would have gone out and got me some real "hot coffee"...

Another year of this...Why couldn't they just release the game on time?

chicken_in_the_corn5d ago

Because the gaming community didn't want it to release this year. It was only delayed because of the massive amounts of pressure they were under to do so. It's been happening for years.

TheDreamCorridor2d ago

You think Rockstar cares about that?

They do whatever they want.

thorstein4d ago

On time to what?

It will be released on time: when it is done.

I would have included the Uncharted games as well. Good list though.

Yui_Suzumiya20d ago

Island would be #1 but that would be anything from Frontwing.

QueenOfFrowns20d ago

Haha it is not lost on me that two of the games in the top four were already novels before they were games
