Xbox Live is Fixed. Wait, No It's Not

SOCOM and LittleBigPlanet have been working fine for just about everybody lately. Obviously Live has been having problems the past couple of days. There were quite the ridiculous amount of threads pertaining to both those games when they launched, but the problem has been fixed. Why would people post about issues with the games when those issues don't exist?

So you're saying someone with a Gears of War avatar with 23 ignores is able to post this without repercussions? Talk about double standards. I'm just saying it has been a problem for people, why can't someone post it?

The difference is that the rest of PSN were still fine when LBP and Socom had their launch problems. You fail. XBL crashes altogether. Something you didn't realize.

im confused was live messed up cause ive been playing all day since yesterday and im playing again today and i havent had an issue yet. maybe its cause im in Toronto or something :S

yeah it's messed up. I was playing friday and kept getting kicked off. Then Saturday couldn't get online at all and still like that today. Although I can hook up my hard drive to my other xbox and connect that way. So maybe it's just certain 360's.

I'm in the same boat. I've been playing on and off since friday night, and I've never had problems connecting. I was disconnected once on Friday night, but was able to log right back in. Since then - no problems.

The only saving grace is I only have a XBL silver account. I paid for gold for a couple of years but between XBL outages and faulty consoles I switched to PSN for my online gaming fix and haven't looked back. I don't miss XBL in the slightest. While I was playing Gears 2 on Saturday I was repeatedly booted out of XBL, so apparently the problems hit Canada.

The PSN has roughly the same amount of accounts as the Live has. Keep in mind that anybody with internet can use PSN. Microsoft counts Silver and Gold in their figure and Silver members can't play games. So you take off the 2 to 3 million people that either don't have any form of Live or just have Silver and the PSN is pretty close to that number

I do not have any problem connecting... and I'm seeing more than 300,000 connected to CODWW and like 600,000 to COD4... and Halo3 a lot more... are they fake connections? Xbox 360 are trying to make a big deal out of this (as always).

That's one of the reason why I like xbox live... Microsoft always keep people inform (within minutes) about what they are doing to address the issues... people are able to b!tch and complain if they have any problem and the complains go directly to the support team within minutes...

With PSN that's another story... here is what this article would say if it was from PSN:

Tell that to the haters trying to make a big deal out of something is not... I am just simply stating a fact and the obvious that xbox live is not the only service that have issue from time to time. PSN has and they just forget. They also forgot the little SOCOM connection ordeal.. and practically every PS3 major title. Anything that connects online lags and have connection problems... it's the nature of the internet.

I had issues on Friday but was playing Gears 2 Single Story so it wasn't a big deal. But Sat didn't have any problems at all.

Also I enjoy both services and understand that they both rely on other Machines to work and as we all know machines will break down at the most inconvenient time. ie. Any time is inconvenient

Even though I don't have a 360 the fact that Live is down just plain sucks. Particularly because most of the time it was reported down was over the weekend.
