Awesome. But I think I'll go 60 fps and better res personally. But we'll see. About 2 days to go for me

CrashMania5d ago

I didn't play DS1 until last year as it just didn't look like my thing at all, but I'm all in now, surprisingly enjoyed it and this is going to be even better I bet.

pwnmaster30005d ago

It’s a slow start, but when you start seeing other players creation to help you deliver it’s so much fun.

RedDevils4d ago

Is one of those games where you have to go back to it like 3-4 times before it clicks.

gold_drake4d ago

if i have to go bk 3 to 4 times for a game to "click", theres something wrong with it haha

Flewid6384d ago

So in other words, not a good game.

raWfodog3d ago

It clicked for me the very first time I played it (Director’s cut version). I thoroughly research the games that I want to play, simply because I don’t have time to waste with games that don’t interest me or look fun to me.

@redDevils

Talk for your self lol . I have played all the og MGS stuff growing up and it all clicked to me . Resources management just like MGS . Great game . I’ll buy this one for sure

The games I’ve played 120fps I can’t really tell the difference from 60fps besides the graphics are lesser. I will check it out but most likely I’ll stick with 60fps

Jin_Sakai4d ago (Edited 4d ago )

The jump from 30fps to 60fps is far more noticeable than 60fps to 120fps. I usually stick to 60fps unless it’s a twitch shooter or fighting game.

Shane Kim4d ago

Same. It's pointless above 60 fps in single player games. I rather have better resolution, textures RT and so on.

jznrpg4d ago

I get 120fps for multiplayer pvp shooters but I quit playing those years ago so it’s not necessary for the games I play.

lukasmain4d ago

Also, why get a taste of 120fps for a long game, only to have to go back to 60fps in most others, and then, god forbid, you start to notice the difference? 60fps is the sweet spot, with much better res.

Flewid6384d ago

Same. Even on a 50 series GPU i lock everything at 60.

Nintendo Pictures Helped Make Death Stranding 2 - An Unexpected Ally Behind Kojima’s Projects

It came to light that Nintendo’s subsidiary, Nintendo Pictures, contributed to the production of Death Stranding 2: On the Beach.

Neonridr23h ago

I wonder if in return we might see a Switch 2 port of Death Stranding or something like that.

lukasmain19h ago

Switch 2 needs Death Stranding 1 on there

Eonjay3h ago

No. The thing is, the Studio that Nintendo bought did the mocap for the original Death Stranding prior to the Nintendo purchase in 2022. Its also makes sense that the contract for two was made before the the purchase as well. It may come to Switch 2 some day but that wouldn't have anything to do with this.

neutralgamer199240m ago

Now this makes more sense. Headline is just for clicks

mooreneco214h ago

Nonsense story, Nintendo bought the mocap studio, Dynamo pictures and renamed it to Nintendo pictures. They worked on DS1 and most likely working on DS2 when the acquisition occurred.

Eonjay3h ago

Just saw this. This is correct.

Christopher3h ago

How does this make the story nonsense? A Nintendo owned studio worked on the game. Just because they bought them instead of making a new studio doesn't change that.

neutralgamer199238m ago

Kojima productions had a contract in place and Nintendo were made aware of it before the acquisition most likely so even if Nintendo said no there wasn't much they could do

When Kojima originally signed the contract it was not a Nintendo owned subsidiary. That's why Nintendo name shouldn't be invoked in this since they didn't have anything to do with it before or after
