Every year we see more creativity in the games we play. Storytelling and gameplay continue to evolve, and indie games are evolving, too. We now see more unique and interesting experiences on a more frequent basis than ever before, and a lot of those experiences are coming from smaller teams. Selecting just one game to award the Indie Game of the Year title to was a tall task.
Video games are no longer just a simple past time. Today's games are evolving into true works of art. Offering intriguing narratives, cinematic setpieces, and profound messages, games can entertain us for hundreds of hours.
