What Happened To PS4 Exclusive Deep Down?

Given all of this, the good and the bad, I wouldn’t place your bets on Deep Down being cancelled or released any time soon.

Will this be an ongoing series about "What happened to {insert shelved/cancelled/delayed PlayStation game}" like the Agent article?Seems to be popping up a lot lately. Next article: "What happened to Wild?"

Where are the Xbox One and Nintendo Switch articles asking the same questions to make this not so biased and agenda seeking like "Where's Metroid?"

If you're journalists, go find the answers to these questions with these third party companies and update gamers about it. Unless the big developers aren't interested in talking to your site for some reason. Or, you're not interested in doing the actual legwork. Says Apocalypse.

So you are mad because the author is curious about what happened to this particular game

Nintendo had already came out and be very crystal clear and transparency about this issue. The quality of the game in development was not on par with the past Metriod game so it had to be rebooted from scratch, and Retro is now the new developer. What more questions do you want to ask them if they have already given you all the answers?

And now where is Sony’s message on Deep Down?

SolidGamerX623d ago

Don't you mean where is Capcom's message?

The answer to your question was as easy to Google as the answer you looked up for Metroid, funny that you didn't bother.

"In an interview translated by Siliconera, producer Yoshinori Ono said the game was still in the works, but it “looks completely different from what [was] previously shown.” More recently, Ono revealed in an interview with Eurogamer Capcom has kept the Deep Down trademark, meaning it hasn’t abandoned the project altogether but the team isn’t actively working on it."

You're looking at this all wrong my man, maybe people just don't care about what has happened to Microsoft and Nintendo games that have gone missing.

It is “deep down” in development.

I’ll see my way out.

I remember this game. Looked cool.

I can only put my faith in Capcom now, since they did a good job with DMC5, RE2 and MHWorld. Maybe the game is currently getting an overhaul to PS5 I mean those graphics were way too realistic even for the PS4 Pro
