Ok, so "they" tried something new. I get it. I have an emotional attachment to the Contra series that transcends what it has become. My mother passed away in 2016 from hear failure. In my younger days, she was a Nintendo head through and through... We had Contra and Super C so mapped in our heads that we could literally become ONE with the game. And by that, I mean our character movements were intertwined the entire runs, pushed against the edge of the screen where Bill and Lance blurred into a rainbow of colors. No deaths. I would fucking LOVE to write a story for a pure Contra sequel....and I have just that story...If you want HEART, message me Konami.

Probably would have sold more and got more accolades from a revamped, four player Contra 3: Alien Wars with couch co-op and online play set on hard mode with widescreen format.
