In a surprise turn of events, Capcom has announced that 2017 soft reboot Resident Evil 7 is getting a prequel and even stranger, it's available this month.
Who says a dud game can't have a video game comeback?
Cyberpunk and No Man's Sky have to be up there. We're lucky and cursed, equally, to have games that can be updated now. For folks old enough to remember the Sega/SNES into PS1 and even 2 eras, if a game came out that was half baked (*cough*Angel of Darkness*cough*) that was it, no redemption. At the same time, having the option for updates shouldn't be an excuse for half assing games.
There are some great VR games but when it comes to iconic series, we think Resident Evil is VR's most powerful IP.
The greatest Resident Evil games (and Resistance) have joined the GeForce NOW library as part of this week's GFN Thursday.
It's a 40 minute VR multiplayer game that is only available at a VR booth in Japan. Nothing to see here
