You get 3 games for $59.99. While square wants to charge you $59.99 for a portion of a full game.

Yet, you have blind fanboys who defend square. "FF7 is huge, that's why!! They can't fit it all on one disk."

Yet, grand theft auto is a massive game. Red dead redemption is a massive game. All cost $59.99.

Because it's Final Fantasy VII. Nintendo could pull the exact same thing with Ocarina of Time and people would still defend it for the name alone.

What I have an issue with is companies taking last gen games and selling it at full price or higher. Ex: donkey Kong tropical freeze. I think if you are going to port any games from last gen it should not cost more than $39.99. Now making games from couple of gens ago would justify them charging $59.99 because the games were not in HD and I'm sure it takes a lot more time to remake then just a remaster. So if Nintendo decides to remake ocarina of Time and give it the same treatment as FF7 I think it justifies the $59.99 tag. Same if Sony/Konami decides to do that with MGS1 and MS does that with Halo 1. But anything from PS3, 360 and WiiU should not be more than $39.99.
