Very refreshing to see a story give the list right at the top of the article rather than making you click through it 15 times. Having said that, how do you not have HoMM3 on the list?! Yes, it's turn-based strategy, but it still has a strong multiplayer following 22 years later.

Unlike most RTS games where you are given a base to gather resources and build armies, the RTS games that Eugen makes requires you to earn your reinforcements immediately in battle, most of the time with little to no guidance.
