IGN definitely thinks that what's been done in The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon is a big step in the right direction for the DS version of the series, but it's just not quite there yet. Activision, if you're continuing the Spyro series for 2009, give these guys one more chance to smooth out the rough edges, because there's a lot of promise and potential in this year's game that just needs a bit more tweaking for it to work properly.
