Yeah, and the stupid thing is that people are going to scrutinise what CDPR are going to do and many aren't going to be happy no matter what.

Another silly thing is that some people might see this as some kind of progressive decision but in the CP world characters don't care about gender simply because people change their bodies so much none of that stuff matters anymore. That's why CDPR are making their character generator this way; they're doing this to be faithful to the core material, not to be PC.

If CDPR make another medieval fantasy, they'll treat the char gen differently.

I love CDPR for their business sense alone. I love the idea of GOG and I wish it was more popular. I love getting 16 free dlc and 2 actual expansions worth the price of admission. They know what they are doing consumer wise and I have zero problem gambling on them blind like I said.

Actual doctors in hospitals when a baby is born recognize 3 genders and 3 genders only: male, female and intersex but if we listen to the looney toons they say that there are 60 or 70 genders and these are based on how they perceive themselves to be wich is why they say: "I identify as" and don't say: "I am" and some of them say that 1 day they identify as one gender and the next day they identify as another. As I see it, It's no different than an adult woman or man perceiving themselves as being fat when they look at a mirror despite weighing 30 or 40 kgs.

Also I would like to point out that 80% of people that transition to another sex come to regret it.

My issue isn't close to being its inclusion. No reason not to, were the developer inclined.
My issue is that they have to be so vocal about the inclusion, because they have to satiate and pander to such a vocally vitriolic minority of the population; lest they leave themselves open to claims of bigotry.

They’re added a generally normal amount of character customisation for an RPG. More flexibility than some, perhaps. It’s good people can make all types of characters, and the reaction against it is.. bizarre. It totally fits the game setting, if futuretech transhumanism is a thing why the heck would people be caught up with 20th century hang ups re: bodies.

And N4G is always on about the developers being able to create their own vision, soooo..? This is what this particular cyberpunk future looks like, and how it’s portrayed in the paper RPG system. 🤷🏻‍♀️
