I really wish I could be excited for this, but thanks to Disney and EA, I can't.

PapaBop2210d ago

These days it's probably for the best, keep your expectations low and maybe Respawn at least can leave you pleasantly surprised.

TheGamez1002210d ago

Really wish EA lost the rights to star wars and disney makes a contract with sony or something to make a truly great game.

Urrakia342210d ago

I'm guessing not very many people played the Titanfall 2 single player campaign. It's actually pretty damn good so I have faith in Respawn. Play it for yourself if you have any doubts about them handling this project.

Razmiran2210d ago

That is whay keeps me somewhat excited for this

DaDrunkenJester2210d ago

Plus the fact it seems jedi focused and not just another army mp game like battlefront.

The broken lightsaber on that slab with the relics was giving me some jedi academy vibes. Very excited to see what it is, hoping big time it's not a colossal let down Haha

He would kill it with a show or trilogy based around the character or some other story that involves Cal Kestis. Currently the best thing about Star Wars.

Demetrius311d ago

They're not looking to acquire, but are they looking to be acquired? That's the big question now with companies like EA, T2, etc.

badboyz09637d ago

EA relies way to much on their licensed ip's which isn't a good thing for a Buyer.

-Foxtrot638d ago

I really want them to finish up Cal's story so LucasFilm are free to use him in a TV show or Film if he survives in the end anyway

Cal or Ezra should be rebuilding the Jedi Temple Order...not Rey.

CrimsonWing69637d ago

Please do. These Jedi games have been exceptionally top tier.

StarkR3ality636d ago

Other than their performance but yeah

CrimsonWing69636d ago

I didn’t really run into performance issues, but I played it on PS5.

neomahi637d ago

We don't want it, let someone else develop Star Wars

Tacoboto637d ago

1. Yes we do want it
2. One of the biggest recent announcements has been Star Wars Outlaws, developed by someone else.
