From GameWatcher: "Marvel Games, the official house for Marvel Comics characters in videogames, is teasing something interesting in social media - quite possibly a new Marvel game reveal.
The studio have added a suspicious "4" to their logo in place of the "A" in "Games", and no one is quite sure why. It's presumably not related to any videogame projects we know about, such as Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3, but could it be a new game? Let's go through the likely options.
There are so many Disney games that could be made, but not much of that magic is being shared on the Nintendo Switch. This is what we'd like to see.
EVO 2019 is something of a gathering point for the world's top talent in fighting game esports. It's also a great place for video game developers to announce their new fighting games. As such, many players were clinging to hope that Capcom or Disney would finally announce Marvel vs Capcom 4, the next numbered entry in the MvC series. However, EVO 2019 came and went without a peep about the new game. What gives?
They should be done with the crossover series and go back to making Marvel Super Heroes 2. I liked the older Capcom marvel fighting games before they ever did the crossovers. Marvel Super Heroes needs a long awaited sequel
Some folks expect too much, when Capcom is ready to announce the next installment they will.
Joseph, Josh, and Chris discuss their E3 predictions with special guest Alex Derickson from the PlayStation Forecast. Some are safe, some are interesting, and some are crazy!
YES! Give the Series the justice it deserves Marvel!
Go back to cell shading and 2d sprites!!!
Maybe it's Hearthstone's former team's project they announced a few days ago
Just going to be about MUA3, weak
MvC4 makes the most sense. They need to get something out there to get rid of the filthy taste MvC3 left in everyone's mouths.
- Include more comic related characters, don't just focus on the MCU. In fact, only use MCU appearances for characters as alternate costumes. Otherwise, keep their appearances as their main costumes.
- Interesting roster with plenty of X-Men. (Cyclops, Wolverine, Storm, Gambit, Magneto, and maybe one or two new ones, like, Mr. Sinister and Nightcrawler)
- Bigger roster with 20-30 characters on each side.
- Don't cater to casuals. Dragonball FighterZ did a perfect job of balancing between casuals and pros. MvC needs to follow suit. Something that is easy for newbies/casuals to learn and play, but tough to master while still allowing them to put up some kind of a fight.
- Don't make ugly character models. Some of the characters in MvC3 were just ugly. period. Not their closthes, their faces. Like they were just ugly people. I'm looking at Chun-Li.
These are all very manageable things, most of which are cosmetic or roster choices.
