After how Sony treated Driveclub and that studio, I doubt they’d go back to Sony for seconds.

Well I don't know the full story, but the launch got a lot of flack during a time when the gaming press had their knives out for Playstation. There was a lot riding on it.
Having said that, I bought all of the DLC, and made 'friends' with a bunch of people through that game, so I really don't understand why they closed the studio. There's definitely room for Driveclub in Sony's portfolio.

I honesty think RDR2 is underrated. I know it’s the highest rated game on the PS4 and Xbox One, but even a 97 on Metacritic doesn’t fully honor what an incredible and transcendent experience the game was. That world is as close to perfection as you can come on current technology.
Mutant Year Zero: Road To Eden was a welcome addition to my game collection after a long absence of play from XCOM2 (due to game crashing bugs that made it near unplayable at times).
Simply took enough of what made XCOM a great game and added interesting characters a quality story and post-apocalyptic world to discover.
Can't wait to see a sequel!!!!
