I'll play them on the Switch, and Sony can not make the license money from it. Same effect if you buy on PC. Eventually, devs will not bother releasing these games on PS, and then Sony can lose out even more. That money will make more of a difference to them than any moaning or petition will.

I won't swear off Sony just yet, but I won't just say "whatever" and keep going on. I'll complain, and make my opinion known, and I'll support these games elsewhere. Kind of a natural progression for me anyways, since I played most of these games on the Vita before anyhow.

Sony will lose millions in revenue every year, and while that may be a drop in the bucket overall, it's still something.

Maybe they'll reverse these policies going forward, because they haven't even made any kind of statement why they're doing this, and that's even more annoying than them doing it. It was so sudden that it was unjustifiable for the devs making games for the system about to release.

Okay maybe minor was a poor choice of the word. The two accessories they removed from the game isn't a huge deal for me (in the grand scheme of things) is what I meant but yeah, as I mentioned, I still don't appreciate any censorship as I'm the guy who enjoys fan service.. That's why I say PC is a considerable option more and more.. I wouldn't even consider PC unless I have extra money for it or if Sony continues this and expands on this censorship

What's more ironic is SSM has what is probably one of the most violent, abusive, and "demeaning" towards women games there is. Yet now Sony feels that that kind of stuff isn't appropriate if it's sexy.

So, people who are moaning will buy it on the switch and get a 720p version with a lotion that makes the boobs wobble a little more and have the 4d rumble option (which is obviously Switch only). But PS4 owners get the game in 1080p (probably higher on the Pro) and the full VR mode included which lets you get right up close into the boobs but the boobs will just wobble at the default wobble-ness.

Why are the pervs moaning again? just because they don't have the extra wobble to them? You do realise the 'game' side of the actual game will be identical. If you're buying the game to relieve yourself over then that's an issue which lies with you...

Well, based on the game, the physics and the visuals, I would imagine it is going to be 720p on the handheld mode and most likely a max of 900p on the docked mode to keep the framerate consistent. The point I was getting across was if you want boobs that wobble a little bit more then pick up the least advanced version.

PS4 owners are getting the VR mode for free by the sounds of it - that's much better than a lotion that makes them bounce more...

It's on their official page if you click the link above - 30fp and 720p handheld - 30pfs and 900p on the TV. PS4 is 1080p at 60fps with the PS4 Pro used to make the VR clearer via a Supersampled VR image.

Also, you can do remote play on the Vita, with is a downsampled 720p or 1080p image (based on what your PS4 is) if you really want to play a game like this on the bus.

I have nothing against the game, I have the previous version with VR which I got on sale from the Hong Kong PSN store, it's just not a game you'd really play outside in public places.

Anyway - seems you're one of the Nintendo fans who like to defend anything bad said about the console, all I was saying is the Switch gets a lower framerate, resolution and the softengine 1.0 with the rumble feature - the Ps4 gets the higher resolution, framerate and VR. so who cares about an item which makes things wobble a little more? It doesn't affect the actual game so it's not a big issue.

@rob-gp actually I don't even own a switch yet, I defend good decisions and I criticize poor decisions no matter which company is making them. I was thinking of getting a switch next year depending on what they release.

for example I criticized nintendo by tethering a phone to their online component. I criticized Microsoft for the cancellation of scale bound and fable legends. Sony is also fair game.

Apparently its for every region, and yes, the Western branch does the compliance testing. It's not even local anymore. Sony has always had a policy of allowing local regulatory rules dictate what was allowed to be in a game...outside a few specific examples which most would consider was too much, and they've always restricted AO ratings(or equivalent).

Now, they're saying that this kind of content isn't appropriate anymore, and they did it rather suddenly, and on behalf of the entire world.

The policy really makes no sense. Came out of nowhere. And is already affecting games that were in development, instead of having a set time with plenty of warning for the developers to adjust. There wasn't even a lot of outcry over this stuff for the past couple years beyond the typical random idiotic article, and it seemed like a lot of this SJW was starting to calm down, but now we have Sony inexplicably being the first company to truly bow to SJW demands....beyond just the stupid pandering that we've seen from other publishers....but outright censorship of games to appease a market that doesn't even care about games.

I think for a while it'll just be games get censored. But if it gets bad enough, the fans will go elsewhere to buy these games, which will eventually drop the sales, which will eventually cause them to stop trying.

OTOH, the games may still sell OK, so maybe nothing will happen. If the game sales actually drop then Sony may end up losing enough money for them to change their minds. While these games don't sell huge numbers, collectively, they still sell enough to make Sony a lot of money on licensing costs. Most people that buy these games buy other Otaku style games, and those aren't likely to disappear, so the PS will still not be a system to ignore unless MS really picks up that market in the future, or people just go to the Switch....which may be alright for many Otaku games.

Even now, we got jackasses saying these games are pedo sims, and we should be ashamed of ourselves for saying they shouldn't be censoring them.

This is just speculation on my part but I believe the main reason besides the whole Silicone Valley HQ censoring Japanese games is Sony being one of the biggest Sponsors for the Japanese 2020 Olympics and is Sony essentially trying to do damage control and clean up their reputation distancing themselves from the ecchi/eroge/pedo genre/ whatever you want to call them dated looking shits.

As far as if you will see this type of censorship in North American/European AAA games I very much doubt it, these markets are the crème de la crème for Sony, in a good week Sony pulls 10K in a japan Sony in a good month in Europe pulls over 200K and higher those Europeans really love their Football and PlayStation but besides that point Japanese developers need to speak with Sony and let their voices be heard to make an impact.
