Eurogamer interviews Davide Soliani on Mario Rabbids' Donkey Kong expansion, the E3 spotlight, and more.
Star Wars Battlefront 3 was in development at Pandemic Studios, but LucasArts wanted the team to make the game in just one year.
Need at least a few years for a bigger game like that and that’s probably not enough.
Sounds about right. They were rushed while making the second game. Not hard to imagine that trend continued with it's ill fated follow-up.
I actually really liked the first Battlefront. Its charm was that it was so simple and basic. It felt like a really well made modernised old school shooter. Ignoring all the COD style BS that took over all other games.
I absolutely loved Battlefront 2 as well but I enjoyed Battlefront 1 for its simplicity.
The director of InZOI claims that major viral glitches like kidnapping are very problematic but they're the cause of freedom.

Davide, dude, listen, I loved the work you and the team did with Kingdom Battle - an excellent job, in fact - and the time you all invested into this title to surprise even me, which is hard to do anymore in this industry.
Now this brings us to a little problem... Davide.. since I know you guys are most likely working on a sequel, no since in beating around the bush here because I know you don't have time, but could we make single player longer with a co-op option? Possibly 3 or four player, even? If the co-op can't happen, how about expanding both the single player and co-op campaigns?
Also, how about switching out any character in your party of your choosing? If you did any combination of these or all of them.. well, to quote Craig from South Park, "That would make me so happy."
Amazing game, looking forward to the DK dlc!
This is a great write up. Now I have so many feels for this man. I love his passion.
