The story is gripping, and it feel like you are playing a movie, the gameplay moves fluidly from one cutscene to another and then back to the gameplay without skipping a beat. This is thanks to the one-shot camera technique that they used for “God of War”, which some can argue is limited or can become very tricky; but, in this case, it works. The technique delivers an incredibly strong story and just keeps you drawn to the screen. Just think about it a bit, no loading screen, no blank screens, no gitters or glitches and no graphic differences. Now this is how you play a story mode."

Might be in a minority here but I didn't enjoy any of the sections playing as Atreus or having companions at all. If I had my way it'd be Kratos on his lonesome from start to finish. Straightforward action gameplay without the endless boring chatter.
