Marvel vs Capcom Infinite Update 1.06 Confirms Character Changes

The Marvel vs Capcom Infinite update 1.06 has rolled out today.

I was thinking the same thing..and then I see it already posted.

I'm not a harcore fighting game fan but I usually have 1-2 per gen that I play here and there.

All I ever play is arcade mode and mess around for the most part.

This game's roster is one of the most unappealing fighting game rosters in the history of fighting games.

I'm not sure you could pay me to play this game.

I couldn't bring mesmelf to buying Thisbe because of the DLC fiasco... But I'd prefer if they had the x-men in the 'Proper' Edition... wolverine, storm, cyclops, etc. otherwise the previous one is a much better game all-round! Hopefully Disneys deal with Fox will pave the way for a proper version of this game.

That's the sad thing, if they had added those DLC characters to the base roster at launch, it would have gone a long way to soften the blow of no X-Men. Locking literally some of the coolest characters behind DLC was just taking the piss, I'm glad it blew up in Capcom's face with poor sales.

The XMen issue was solely on Marvel, tbf.

Hence why the DLC characters should have been in the base game. Capcom couldn't add the X-Men, that left a gaping hole in the roster that never really got filled, the DLC characters at least would have bumped up the base roster and at the very least softened the blow. Still, Capcom got greedy now the Mahvel franchise is as good as dead pretty much.

Its not a true version update. Just very small changes to SOME characters. Mainly big fixes. Game is still underpar.
