Nothing new here. Just more license garbage where the developer and the company didn't care about making a quality game but a tie in to advertise the movie. Shame really.

I just finished playing The Mummy on PS4 which was a great Metroidvania game. But since they added Contra to the mix, it was more like a "Controidvania" game. At least the developer wanted to make a good game.

Justice League could have been better and blown away the mobile game. But its poor showing has no bearing on how awesome VR is. Even though you still got some naysayers knocking VR for its misses but not praising it for its hits.

watching sony destroy psvr like they did vita first hand is a wild ride, a long slow painful death that will drag on for 3 years before people admit its been dead for 3 years with articles popping up on how the psvr is still alive and kicking because some crappy game came out after a year

G20WLY2700d ago

Does free promotional content stop people from enjoying Skyrim, DOOM or any of the other great releases it's seen this year alone?

Count the exclusives on PSVR and then do the same for Xbone. Any thoughts on that? 🤔

xX-oldboy-Xx2700d ago

Keep trying mate, better yet try PSVR. And Vita is still getting games released. You've literally have no idea what you're talking about.

bolimekurac2700d ago

oh so vita is alive and doing well, just like psvr???

T2X2700d ago

Actually, VR is the future. Whether you like it or not. Whether or not it's the PSVR, Oculus, or VIVE, or another one that hasn't come out yet. I can't understand why some folks can't wrap their brain around it. It IS a big deal. It is a bigger deal than 3D even was. and it also is nothing like the Vita situation. Any handheld is only aimed at a certain demographic and only for a certain amount of time. When people grow older and aren't sitting in the back seat of their Mom and Dad's SUV on a trip, or in a boring classroom or dorm guess what? They will be looking at other methods of consuming their gaming. They don't need a little gaming device in their hands anymore and they certainly don't need a $400 dollar handheld system that it doesn't make financial sense to split your resources to develop for when you have to develop for the bigger screens and experiences. So, VR and handheld are not anything remotely similar in that respect.

bolimekurac2700d ago (Edited 2700d ago )

any device that needs to be worn, that locks out the users around you, that is cumbersome with wires and limited game experiences is not the future, maybe in the future like 5 years from now it will become more popular then it is now , it will never become the main way people play . psvr is dead as dead as vita is, sure it has a pulse but thats about it.

You've better bought yourself tons of popcorn or whatever food you want to eat cuz you are going to be watching for a very looooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ooooooooooooong time.

Watching Sony making VR become mainstream with the PSVR, like they did with console gaming with the PS1 first, is a wild ride. A long joyous life that will last for years before the naysayers who've never touched a VR unit finally admit VR isn't going anywhere, with articles popping up still clinging to the old notion that VR is dead because it's not on every console.

After watching this trailer, the concept of gameplay reminds me of those very simple mobile games. *googles* Yup, it was released on mobiles.
