2017 is old news, all the new and great games are coming in 2018. This includes new releases from acclaimed developers to sequels from some of the most popular franchises. Here are our most anticipated games of 2018.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is Rockstar Games’ latest heavyweight, with nearly 40K concurrent players even five years after the (staggered) PC launch. Despite that, it can be a challenge to run the game on midrange and low-end PCs. RDR2 has gotten NVIDIA DLSS and AMD FSR 2 support following poor reception from Steam gamers.
"Use the Windows “High Performance” power profile and set your GPU power management mode to the same."
Not if you use AMD Ryzen CPU's. That needs to be set to balanced. "Overclock your GPU if you’re narrowly missing the 60 FPS mark." Actually it would be better to undervolt and increase the clock speed and see how stable it is in game.
With God of War: Ragnarok launching on PC later this month, we decided to take its prequel for a spin on the Steam Deck OLED. Fortunately, the game looks and runs admirably with consistent frametimes and sharp textures.
Fanatical is back with a new bundle, and this time, they're offering two Monster Hunter games and some extra content for a small price.
There's so many but Spider Man and God of War are at the top for me! With Days Gone, Dreams, Detroit, Ni bob Kuni II, Metro Exodus, Red Dead II and Shadow of the Collosus right behind!
I don't see TLOU II hitting till 2019. Also Ghosts for Tsushima is day one whenever it's releases!
Some under the radar games Im looking forward to are The Crew 2, Jurassic World Evolution, Ace Combat 7, Insurgency: Sandstorm, Onrush and System Shock Remaster
I don't think that The Last of Us Part 2 will be coming out in 2018. Because of that my list would be more like this:
1. Spiderman
2. God of War
3. Red Dead Redemption 2
4. Ni No Kuni 2
5. Dreams
Though PSX also made me feel excited for Detroit: Become Human too.
For me, it's between Ghost of Tsushima and Ni No Kuni 2. Ni No Kuni 2 better be one of the best JRPGs off all-time given how long they've made us wait.
Honorable mentions:
Spiderman
Shadow of the Tomb Raider
I’m hyped for a bunch of games but Ghost of Tsushima and god of war are on another level for me.
