As far as i know it's still PtP, so i guess the servers have something to do with data collecting/microtransactions and this stuff.

Right, I do agree with you however this has happened. How many times do we get games and the online part of it has problems in the first few days/weeks? So this is nothing new. Not saying this is right, but let's not act that this has never happened before.

Just like when GTA5 Online came out, right? That was down for a good part of two weeks, yet because this is Call Of Duty everyone thinks this is shocking. I agree that it's annoying, but it happens quite a lot with big online releases now.

While I do agree that SP is there and it works, you should not expect to buy a game and only 1/2 of it works.

That's like buying a car that doesn't run, and the someone telling to go sit in the car and listen to music in the meantime.

No, that is not at all what it's like. The game can still be played just not online.

It's more like, you can't drive the car on a highway but can drive it everywhere else in the mean time that problem is fixed.

I'm not saying it's right that it doesn't work. Farm from it. But people now act like this has never happened before and it's the end of the world.

Major title like these are prone to day 1 issues online. Almost all of them had it so it's expected. Not right and unfortunate, but expected.

And again, it's not like you absolutely can't play the game at all.

You can still play 2/3 of the game because the story mode and zombies work.
You will not be borred while this issue is ironed out is what I'm saying.

I didn't single out CoD. I made a general statement about releasing games that work. Thats what the beta is for. Stress testing. These developers need to get it together.

People shouldn't be okay with it and settle for playing modes when they want to play online. I get it. It happens. But it happens too often. Thats kind of the point.

To act like people are only mad because its CoD is ridiculous. People get mad EVERY time it happens, regardless of the game.

Who didn't expect this? It seems to happen whenever a CoD or Battlefield games releases. There are server issues and the devs always roll out the excuse of, "We did expect this many players to try and log on at once."

I don't have a lot of free time. I took off work tonight to play this game. I have stared at the loading screen far more than I've been in a fucking match. Shame on Activision. Absolutely unforgivable and inexcusable.
