"A complete disappointment. Fire Emblem Warriors is by far the weakest Fire Emblem game to date"
BLG writes: "The Fire Emblem games are a storied part of Nintendo’s history. Debuting only in Japan in 1990, it gave the first Nintendo consoles an enjoyable fantasy RPG-strategy experience. With 2003’s Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade, the series made its debut in North America (Europe and Australia got a 2004 release). Since then, the franchise has been a mainstay on every Nintendo system."
I still own Fire Emblem POF and RD. Those entries are uber pricey now. I wish they would bring back the transforming units from those games. Radiant Dawn was pretty hard too but at least you could save before each turn. Saved me the trouble of having to redo many a map due to unlucky enemy crits. lol
Thracia 776, Heroes and Warriors are all awful. I ignore them when discussing Fire Emblem altogether
Top 5:
1. Awakening
2. Three Houses
3. Blazing Blade
4. Sacred Stones
5. Path of Radiance.
I've played most of the others, but they didn't really hook me.
Stay away from Shadows of Valencia and the DS remakes.
Daily Video Game writes: "Amazon has several Nintendo Switch games on sale that you can take advantage of right now, including its first-party titles such as The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD, Fire Emblem Warriors, and more, with up to 70% off for a limited time!"
As we heard a couple of months ago, Lyn – otherwise known as Lyndis – from Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade is getting a new 1/7 scale figure.
Reviews for this title are all over the place.
The sentence structure of this review is abrupt and extremely rough around the edges; a lot of improvement is needed for the writer's style. The paragraphs don't stick to any one subject or idea that flow well together, such as how Nier Automata is brought up and then abruptly forgotten about while the writer goes on to complain about graphics.
Many of the sentences are reiterative and redundant. For example, "Graphically the game doesn’t look good at all. I was very disappointed with the graphics in this game. This is the first Fire Emblem game on the Nintendo Switch so I was definitely expecting a lot more graphically." The aforementioned consists of three sentences that provide no specifics for the disappointment, ergo it seems as if it drones on for no good reason as it doesn't illustrate a point until the fourth sentence, making at least two of those sentences superfluous.
I'd pull examples from later in the review, but there's still no details given about the game, really. For those who don't know how Warriors games play, this review tells them *nothing*. Nothing about the combat systems, nothing about leveling up, none of it. This is a lackluster, browbeating review that wants to complain about difficulty, graphics, and story content but won't actually speak on how the game actually plays, which makes for a pretty abysmal video game review.
Best of luck in future reviews.
That is because it is not a Fire Emblem game it is a Warriors games with a Fire Emblem skin.
