At first I was annoyed by gayming posts of jstationx but now I'm quite glad. It lets me know which pandering, virtue signaling games not to get.

Romances in video games used to be harder to acheive. It should go back to that and make ALL romances optional and never in your face. Unlike Mass Effect Andromeda.

But as far as pandering...its plainly obvious when some element or characters have been fakely labeled as non hetero or shoehorned into the game.

Not something that should bother anybody. The option is there for those who want it and if you don't it's not forced on you.

To be honest thats the moment I started noticing non hetero's in gaming.

I was completely unbothered since it was not in your face. Not a single romance option was.
Not the case anymore as seen with Andromeda.

It's irresponsible and a waste of time. They should remove romances all together.

If you read the article it says that they mentioned, while writing on their own forum for the game, that the game features romances including same sex ones. They're hardly shouting it from the rooftops are they? Just mentioning it.

The problem is if you're going to do it just do it. This whole "I can't wait to announce this" idea these developers have is why they're pandering. You have gay romance in your game? Congratulations. This is getting ridiculous.

Trailer looks intriguing. Not sure what the big deal is about the romance option. If the characters have chemistry, awesome - let them romance it up. If it feels forced, then that's a disservice to the communities they are trying to represent / and it lowers the quality of the game.

Good luck with pushing issue into game that likely is t about sexuality or romance... nothing wrong at all with lgbt being in gaming but forcing it in and pushing an opinion does narrow audience ... i left mass effect for this reason
