I like both games a lot, but you're telling me a game where they have a giant Panda and a basically a soap opera between angry family members who are half demons is any less childish than super human beings? They're both fantastic games and Injustice 2 has some of the best facial tech ever, not to bring down Tekken or anything, because they're both fantastic.

^^man Panda is very artisitc and clever desing that follows (and satires) many european and asian cultres , which kept bears as pets or exhibition and circus purposes (..at last the bear stood up and even fights) ....it s a damn adult design ...Baman with green flashy lights or whatever crap they thought to add on him , wtf it is ????...if i put a 10 year old to draw me a concept of hero ...will create a 1000 times better design than a super lame heroes (no matter if they are DC or marvel).....literally there is not even a comparison between Injustice (i couldnt even see a video walkthrough) and legendary series like Tekken

I'm a Tekken guy myself. Haven't missed a game yet, Tekken Advance withstanding. I'm definitely biased in that it's my favorite fighting series, but Injustice 2 has gotten some pretty good reception itself. Haven't played it myself, but I didn't care much for the first one. As I understand, it's better than its predecessor-- by how much, I can't say.

All things considered, I think you're being... unjust to Injustice 2, naruga. This is coming from a diehard Tekken fan. Have you at least played it yourself?

EDIT: At the very least, Nether Realms have a nasty habit of giving you a very broken final boss, so I expect as much from them in Injustice 2. Tekken 7's story mode boss on max stars is pretty broken. Even on 3 stars, it's pretty bad.

Obviously injustice is behind tekken in terms of its following. we know its not as much of an EVO tournment fightstick playing mountain dew and monster energy drink sponsored pro MLG pro twich live streamed brodude game. Its less established as a franchise and less refined in terms of mechanics.
But for what injustice is, its an excellent fighting franchise with very solid fight mechanics and a ton of value. netherrealm does way more than namco to explore new mechanics and create an approachable fighting game. so you can talk all the shit youd like about injustice because youre too good for it but at the end of the day injustice sold a TON of copies and rated significantly better than tekken 7.

I2 has a much more involving and well-scripted story mode, has solid mechanics, and a CRAPLOAD of modes and unlockables. Tekken will always be the best fighting game franchise to me, but T7 is lackluster in terms of features. No individual endings, a story mode with THE WORST NARRATOR IN VIDEOGAME HISTORY, less characters than it's predecessor... You'd think with how friggin' long the game took to come out, we'd at least get something like Tekken Bowl as an extra.

As a fighting game, of course I enjoy Tekken more, it's friggin' Tekken. But in terms of overall value, Injustice is a great entry into the fighting game genre, and I'm sure it'll get loads of play come tournament season. You're being VERY unfair to Injustice.

Apples and oranges, you can't really compare a 2d fighter to a 3d fighter as they play vastly different. Both games are top notch though. If I was compare content though, I think Injustice 2 would win it for multiverse.

I think as far as core fighting is concerned, Tekken 7 is a much better fighting game. The issue plaguing injustice 2 is the same issue plaguing every netherrealm fighter. The game's feel a little "chunky" and it's not necessarily because that's just the fighting engine and how it plays.

It's a fundamental flaw within the core animation set of NR games. Injustice 2 has the best facial animations in a fighting game bar none, but the actual fighting animations leave a lot to be desired. It leads to making the game feel less fluid and natural than it should. That said, Injustice 2 is an easier choice for more casual gamers and casual fighting game fans because of the gear system, more extensive story mode, and really more extensive bonus content in general.

Tekken 7 doesn't have a proper tutorial and doesn't really teach you any of its mechanics unlike injustice 2 which forces you into a tutorial explaining everything once you start it up. It's perhaps a bit more intimidating with the lack of stuff such as a proper tutorial and less single player content, however, if you want a fighting game just for the fighting and a high skill ceiling, etc...Tekken 7 has Injustice 2 beat.

Exactly, if you want a fighter with good mechanincs (aka what makes a fighter good) then get Tekken. Injustice and MK simply can't compete in that regard. What makes Injustice "good" is it's flashyness and graphics. aside from that it doesn't have much going on for it.

On topic: whichever you prefer. You can't go wrong with either one.

I got Tekken 7 myself instead of Injustice 2 and the reason is that knowing Neatherrelms Studios, they will release a complete edition of Injustice 2 within a year or so with all DLC characters included for $40. They did that with MKX, Injustice 1 and the latest MK they just call MKXL. So, I will never buy a game from Neatherrelms studios on day one ever again knowing their history. But that is just my thing. If you prefer Injustice 2 than go for it and enjoy it!

Injustice 2, tekkem 7 online is terrible. Waited 10 minutes to find a match. Visuals it looks bulky and even plays clunky at times. Tekken is stuck in the past. It's a decent game but with definite flaws.

Tekken 7 online is terrible right now I agree but that will be fixed. Injustice 2 clunky gameplay will not. Tekken to me has a better character selection, way better variety and is more rewarding when you master a fighter. Tekken is and always will be the best fighting game on the market.

Tekken'sdisappointing story mode won't be fixed. The online is wonky and the roster isnt as memorable as DC, who are in the business of characters.

What variety? T7 doesn't even have as many maps, tutorials, levelling, and treasure mode pales next to multiverse.

Even on a basic level, according to digital foundry Tekken runs at 720p on Xbox and 900p native on PS4...while Injustice2 runs at 900 on Xbox and 1080 on PS4.

The game in the arcades, the game in the pros, the game with the deep fighting system. The game with the deeper combo system. The game that is tactics over fireball spamming.
Tekken will always be more of a pure fighter than injustice. Injustice is a flashy game and it's awsome. But I like deep strategy and more realistic battles.
I just can't see fireball spamming as fighting. In tekken you gotta use your hands and your defense efficiently.

First off if you buy a fighter for the story mode you are an idiot lol. Secondly Tekken 7 has a great roster, this game hardly has that many characters that fight similar besides the Mishimas and Kazamas. Everybody else has their own unique fighting style, movements, counters and everything. Tekken characters have dozens of moves and combos, the movelist dwarfs Injustice 2's move list. Its just a deeper game and offers more if you just want to master a character and beat peoples asses online. If you want to watch a DC cinematic movie then go buy Injustice 2. You bring up maps like it matters in a fighting game lol this aint Call of Duty nobody cares about maps on fighters even though I believe Tekken may have more than Injustice. Resolution could be better but its not a major concern in a fighting game lets be real, its just not. Everything you are complaining about is minimal stuff that people don't care about in a fighter. What makes fighting games great is character design, customization and variety of fighters.

Tekken has been the same game for years, and haven't change much like its cousins Soul Calibur(I like better). Injustice 2 is the best fighter this generation, even over Nintendo Switch's ARMs(sadly)! Yes I played Nintendo Switch ARMs beta and thought that game was a little too hard with the Joy Cons, even with the traditional controller. It feels unbalanced. Injustice 2 will even trump Marvel Vs Capcom Infinite. Yup especially after the leak of that Marvel VS Capcom Infinite character roster that got some gamers disappointed.

Both games are stellar but it depends on what kind of fighting game your into, Injustice 2 and all NetherRealm games have always been casual fighting games (again not meant to be an insult!!) that are easily accessible but the downside is the combat and gameplay are not very complex, if you have trouble with fighting games or don't like them then Injustice 2 is perfect.

Tekken 7 is the exact opposite, the game is not made to be accessible and made for core fighting game players and those who have been playing Tekken from the start but features complex and wonderful combat when you take the time time to learn it.

So it all determines on your what you want in a fighting game if it's pick up and play Injustice 2 if it's taking the time to learn how to play it's Tekken 7.

Injustice 2 is a lot easier to pick up and learn. I was messing with tekken 7 yesterday and I didn't see any good tutorials for beginners who don't play tekken like that. I remember the Law character and that was about it. The moves list is kinda confusing as well. Overall I would say injustice 2 is the better game in terms of leaning and single player/local content. I'm really going to have to sit down and dedicate myself to learn tekken 7.

Fan of both but I would give the edge to Injustice because it has a more fleshed out story an I love DC.

In terms of pure fighting gameplay Tekken ofcourse but it is the same we had before but just better graphics which is not really bad but its time they at least trying to improve the game story.
