Tekken 7 is very much the same as every Tekken game that came before it. That’s not an inherently bad thing, but it does feel like the series’ refusal to innovate may be beginning to catch up with it.

Yeah, that's pretty much what I've been hearing, still for some they will love it for That classic Tekken gameplay.
Kind of glad the mechanics haven't changed much. I haven't played Tekken since Tekken 4 and a lot of stuff translates well into Tekken 7.
