The RPG classic that launched a million creative imaginations and earned a permanent spot on every “best games of all time” list you’ll ever see is finally making an appearance on Final Fantasy: Brave Exvius. From now until May 5 at 1 A.M. PST, the app will be featuring a Final Fantasy VI (Final Fantasy III for SNES players) dungeon event.
Gary Green said: We Europeans got royally screwed with the releases of the first six Final Fantasy games. I’m sure you’d find plenty of dodgy imports or bootlegs if you looked hard enough, but we never actually got a proper release for any of them, at least not for the first editions. There was a lot of xenophobia in gaming at the time, so anything Japanese getting released in the west at all was nothing short of a miracle. It was an ugly trend that continued well into the 2000s when worldwide releases became the new norm.
One of the most beloved entries in Square Enix’s long-running franchise is celebrating its 30th anniversary and that’s cause for celebration!
This arguably is my best game of all time out of the 40yrs I’ve been playing videogames

Square Enix is pulling Xenogears out from its dusty drawer of underutilized IPs, but it's just a collaboration on Final Fantasy Brave Exvius.
Well, it's hard to utilize the IP since it's tied to the Xenosaga franchise and that's with Monolith, who in turn are owned by Nintendo.
I’m hoping that they have some plans to remake Xenogears. It continues to baffle me why they are not listening to the loud pleas from fans. Especially when they consider new IPs to be a ‘risk’ these days. I would love new IPs too but don’t throw away your old, proven ones.
You say cruelty, I say ineptness.
This also makes me more pissed than disappointed.
