A new Guitar Hero game looks set to be announced by Activision as Guitar Hero Mobile ads are appearing on Instagram out of the blue.
Should have been a console game, right now would have been a good time for a new Guitar Hero.
Time to revive all those popular franchises that are easy to monetize with micro transactions and nothing is easier than music games where they’ll charge you $5- 10 for 2- 5 songs.

The fact that they let this go until the last minute, making use of the extra sales they were getting from those excited for the multiplayer mod, is about as slimy as it gets.
Whenever something with one of these developers Microsoft bought if they do something bad it's always the developers but if they do something good it's always Microsoft.

I remember the first time I saw an Activision game on my friend's 2600--. The idea that anyone other than Atari could create a 2600 game seemed strange at the time.
The other strange thing was the graphics were so much better than what Atari would typically produce, and they actually resembled the box art :)
